From Logan to Bear Lake

The landscape changed dramatically as we left the city of Logan driving by Utah State University.  We were entering a canyon - Cache Canyon - that reminded me of Crazy Woman Canyon with huge walls and winding roads.  The difference is this canyon is wider, bigger, and well paved.  We followed the Logan River as it wound back and forth.

And we came upon Bear Lake after the windy canyon road.

This beautiful lake and the surrounding greenery is so different than the Utah we saw last year: the National Parks like Zion and Arches.  We set up Hilda at our campground and explored the town of Garden City.  There is not much to it - a commercial strip and some condos.   The Marina is a State Park so we did a brief tour to take some photos.

Makes me wish we were boat people!

Back to the campground for another gourmet dinner prepared by Roscoe.

Tomorrow we are on our way back to Wyoming - we will be spending the night in Rawlins and on Tuesday we get to Cheyenne.
